2/3 cup milk

1/2 cup all purpose enriched flour

1/2 tsp salt

oil for deep frying

1.  Cut onions into 1/4 inch slices.

2.  Separate into rings.

3.  Soak onion rings in milk and then deep in flour seasoned with 1/2 tsp salt.

4.  Fry a few at a time in deep oil heated to 375 degrees F.

5.  Cook until lightly browed for 3 minutes.

6.  Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt
